Seeing ppl spam shout to buy an item like Hagun or Osode for lower than normal, and then 2 days later spam shouting to sell it higher.

Like this guy shouting right now who said no more than 1.9m for Osode the other day. He is spam shouting right now selling it for 2.4m.

So asshats that can't earn gil grind my gears..

My inability to change race.

Apparently SE's policy states you can overcharge people without consent, but changing race goes against the Policy to the degree I got a warning for contacting another GM and seeing if he could just alter my hairstyle.

First of all wtf you talking about overcharging without consent. And yeah if you hacked the game to change your looks... what you expect

Firstly I was double charged, then when I contacted a GM about it there is a longwinded procedure to get that money back, unlike their ability to instantly double charge soemone without them knowing its going to happen.

Secondly who said anything about hacks? I asked a GM to change my hairstyle.

Side note: While DAT changing is considered against ToS I'd hardly call it a hack.

I do the same thing, to a much lesser extent, with the retards that undercut ***on the AH to below vendor price. I got sick and tired of jagoffs undercutting the ***I was selling into the dirt, and having "very fast" sellers kick back over and over, so now I just buy it from them and sell it 2 feet away to a merchant. Instant profit I didn't have to really do *** all for.

I used to hate undercutters with a passion...now they unknowingly give a lot of their profits to me. So to them, thanks! Keep on undercutting! You guy's bought me a pair of Behemoth Knives +1's the other day!! WOOT!! :P

I hate people always trying to make a quick buck off the backs of others. That goes double for HNMls designed to only get good stuff for the leaders and no one else.

Me coming to flan camp with only 3 other blms there. Popping anni ring just to hit an xp high and having another show up then 2 more and a brd in pt and not one thinking hey this is overcrowded lets go somewhere else. Getting chain4 944 then missing chain5 on a VT++ by seconds because of it. Argh. Oh and forgetting and being in xp mode for most of it lol.

I have no issues playing the AH. I only dislike ppl that do it in shouts. Several ppl do it too, some of them are well known on the server. Some of them will use their buddies to try to talk someone into selling something low, or try to sell to them high for the sole intent of making gil off the behave of others.

At least with the AH you can know someone's intent. Sure you have under-cutters and price fixers, but it's a much more controlled enviroment. You don't have heartless ppl taking advantage of others just to make a few quick gil.

Playing the ah is work, you have to research and play the market. The way these scam artists that grind my gears do it though, there is no real work, just deceit.

If they were honest in how they did it, then it would be different. But I have personally seen some trying to swindle the gil. They shout for ages to get say a Hauby+1 for 200k less than normal. Then they find someone that might be interested and try to tell them it's worth 300k more than it is w/ lies.

I guess it's not so much what they do, but why/how they do it. I consider honesty and trust as my most important qualities in friends and ppl I associate with. Yeah, I know I don't have to be friends with them, but I'd rather be around crazy ppl like Fili than liars and cheaters.

It's also annoying to see them spam their HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE prices in shouts. And having to /blist also grinds my gears.
