I get so pissed/angry/peeved when I see a Level 75 Bard wearin a Wind Torque with a flipping stringed instrument equipped. Jesus christ spend the extra 7k at your local AH for a String Torque. Poop it'll help you in the long run and its only one yes one inventory space for you. It'll also preserve my sanity thank you. /rant off

I think what Markii meant by <lasttpc> was <lastpc> as in "what he said." Which was about being up for a relic drop for 6 months, and then finally getting it with 2 dropping every run for the next 3 attempts.

It's horribly awkward to exp for 1-2 hours and have nobody say a single word other than your typical {Congratulations} when someone levels.

And when you talk to them about trying to coordinate one, they tell you that it's useless. The idea of levelling should be preparation, people!

Tends to works better for me then sitting there talking and talking when u should be curing or songs etc etc. I mean isnt the point of a pt, exp. Im not there to socialize. And if you ever in a merit pt (bird camp,) it tends to be too fast to even talk, and if you do your totally not doing your job. I only merit w/ my ls anyway so its not really an issue. If you want to talk cant just say something on vc. I'm not saying everyone has to share their biographies as they party, but some general interaction, questions, compliments and shared experiences would make things alot more fun and lively than just grinding for max exp. I'd happily sacrifice a few extra k exp/hour if it means I can exp with human beings instead of mindless robots.

I understand what your saying, and i cant talk for everyone but i know i can talk for some when i say, I party for exp and socialize in my Linkshell, thats what a linkshell is for, to be connected around Vana'diel and work together etc etc. IMO a party is for exp, so im gonna get as much as i can as quick as i can, and if that means not talking for 2 hours, then so be it. I can always socialize when im standing around in whitegate. |
