Jet, the main difference between us is I don't feel the scanners are invasive. It's a matter of opinion that we will not agree on. If you too felt that the scanners were not dangerous or invasive as I then perhaps we would be on the same page.

how in the hell do you not think they are invasive? That's like saying a strip search isn't invasive, and it isn't invasive when they take a picture of you. fail man, fail.

True, you can have an opinion. But unless your children are the subject for one of those random pat downs, and you as a parent see how uncomfortable it makes him/her/them, you can't really support it, can you? Because once it does happen to you, you might see things from a different point of view, and maybe won't be as accepting anymore.

If we lived by the laws of nature, if you can't provide for your family then you just starved and that was the end of it. The world isn't made of rose petals and candy, but it's a hell of a lot easier than if the world was in its natural order. And yet you still find a way to complain about how hard it is.

It's easier now that you don't have to find your own deer and impale it for the meat in order to feed. But it's still a world based on "survival of the fittest". The "fittest" has just changed to smartest, pro-active, or enherited wealth instead of sheer physical fitness.

Someone at my work lived down the street to a family in a million dollar+ home neighborhood. They called their financial institution trying to take advantage of some of the new Obama programs to either lower the balance of their loan to something closer to the value of their house or adjust the interest. They were advised they can not qualify until they miss a payment and instructed them to do so. They missed a payment and called back, they were instructed they need to be 90 days past due. They did the same thing and called back, they were then told they now qualify but need to bring their loan current. Needless to say the idiot lost their home and it's been sitting there vacant for over a year.

I too spoke to someone about seeing if I could qualify to adjust my interest rate after consulting my bank. I was told because my loan was not owned by Freddie Mac or Fannie May that I could not qualify, I was told the only way I can qualify was if I miss a payment. I told the guy to *** off and that I would not even consider jeopordizing my credit that would not be an option for me. So instead I continue to pay my loan like a productive member of society and hope value of my house continues to climb slow and steady over time. Keep in mind I am not talking about people who were without work who could not pay their loans, I'm talking about the people with piss poor money management who chose to walk away from their homes like many people did here in California.

You know children have to get naked when entering juvenile hall? Obviously there is a difference here because one person is boarding an airplane and another broke the law and is being sent to a detention center, I understand this.

But why why aren't you as enraged to stop the perverts /sc who have to look at these kids enter completely naked? Why isn't this all over the news? Why aren't people claiming every single person that works inside these detention centers for minors are pedophiles and perverts as they are eluding every single person who works for the TSA is?

I know full well how they run a juvenile hall, and some rights are forfeit when you break the law, you are not breaking a law by getting on a plane (unless you personally are not allowed by court order or some ***). Despite what the TSA says your rights are not relinquished when you purchase a plane ticket, and this *** will not continue to stand.

As to the homes thing, that is not for you to decide.

My sister and mother worked for TSA in Phoenix. Met lots of celebrities like Mark Harmon from NCIS to Linkin Park (lolLinkinPark) and made a good 14-15$ an hour and my sister was right out of highschool.

For the record my sister hated the job because she said the public are a bunch of d***s. She said people would blow up if you simply asked to see their ID. Though she also didnt care much for her bosses.

Either way, we all watch the news these days and roll our eyes.

My sister only quit like a year ago because she had a kid. I dont support anything as I dont fly and unlike I guess most of the forum I wasnt at any airport to witness any of the controversies, so I cant judge. But I do know that people are all around idiots, whether they work for TSA or not.
