Meteor will probably be a part of the new merit system at level 99. You'll have to unlock it via merits.

"Deals massive non-elemental damage to enemies within area of effect. (!)" from wiki, if thats true and it stays non-ele for BLM, then it wont have an elemental affinity, meaning those MAB wands/staff that people lol at will become highly desired.
It's been both thru ffs. Not that SE cares. THey will do whatever they want lol. Hell wouldn't be suprised if they made a new element for it

I'm guessing it's going to be dark based, just because it's about time we got a kickass dark spell. Yeah, i'm looking at you DRKs with your drain 2 >.<

It means an idiot( virtuous saint) went in Limbus, kited the KB boss and ate a few meteor and saw maybe one resist while wearing a pretty low drak resist set.
If you analyze the final ASA fight you will see that only the white magic based shatotto can cast meteor. Those are two anectotical evidences of two different elements. Which to choose ? I believe PChan means "anecdotal" and even then ... he's pretty wrong anyway.
