Katanagatari without a doubt is one of my Favorite anime of all time. It does not have a dub, but subbed versions are about.

Plot

Yasuri Shichika, seventh successor of the Kyoto Ryu (bladeless) sword art, lives on an isolated island with his older sister, Nanami.

One day Shichika is visited by a woman named Togame, who requests his aid in her quest to find and collect the final twelve swords forged by the legendary master swordsmith, Shikizaki Kiki. So I decided to take my friends advice and finally watch Soul Eater (and Soul Eater Not!) but I was just curious if I'd be missing out on anything by not watching Soul Eater Late Nite edition or w/e.

It seems like there is a very minimal difference between Soul Eater and Soul Eater: LN but I've been out of the anime loop for a very long time... besides randomly watching Ghibli Films, Pokemon Origins and Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal >_>

Really good season this time around, which is nice considering how awful last season was. Gakkou Garashi is going to be one hell of a ride. Shows I'm gonna be keeping up with this time around are:

It's fun and only 5 minutes. If it was 24 minute episodes then I admit I probably couldn't sit through it as I normally can't stand ecchi.

DanMachi was pretty good, also 2nd season of unlimited blade works.

Anything that does not have girls with eyes the size of grapefruit. Those eyes wierd me out man.

Prison School.

Beautiful women dominating men. And incredibly hilarious. Must see.

That's a tough question depends what you like. I like C3 , wish they would do a season 2.

Loved the start of Gochiusa S2. Haven't been this happy while watching an anime in a long time. I'm glad it's living up to my high hopes. And *** you, Ihina, Rize is a god damn angel.

Asterix Wars (being done by the same studio as SAO)

World Trigger (really starting to wonder if the main character will ever come into his own... though i suspect he will just sort of slow character growth is all)

No Game No Life (shut in/game addicted siblings transported to a world where everything is decided by games)

Log Horizon (MMO turned into reality)

Aldnoah Zero (Good mech series)

Shokugeki no Soma (cooking/comedy)

Gate (think star gate, but the other side is a medieval/fantasy world that initiated an attack on japan when the gate appears in the middle of akihabara, so japan sends the JSDF through the gate to find who is responsible and demand reparations)

Baby Steps (good tennis anime/manga)

Rokka no Yuusha (typical slay the demon lord type setup with a myan/aztec type culture instead of the traditional medieval setup)

Akame ga Kiru (medieval setting with super powers, based around a corrupt government and assassins for hire who take out its corrupt officials, no character has death immunity)

I'm trying to get into One Piece but I can't watch 733 episodes of anything. Is there an OVA or a video that covers everything I need to know? How about a summary of everything up until this point?
