Also another series I can't remember the name was good was this one with 2 guys (brothers I think) who were kinda like bounty hunter/mercs with powers. The one brother was blonde and had powers involving electricity, the other brother had brown hair and his power was basically to mindfuck people. I remember them fighting with/against some people who used perfumes to fight, knives that they kept under their skin, weird stuff, it was forever ago I saw it though.
I haven't seen the anime to it but I would recommend the Bakuman manga. Its about two guys who team up to be manga artists. ("I heard you like manga so I put manga in your manga.") Its a unique premise that ends up classifying and reviewing typical manners of generating the popular Japanese comic.
I enjoy bleach as well, but if you're a fan of anime and you don't watch it, it's most likely because you don't enjoy it. So it's kind of useless to mention it.

Clannad and Clannad: ~After Story~ I definetly would recommend, if you dont cry at some point in the series, you need to get your emotions checked. Some suggestions I have include Sola and AIR, both were good series as well

I tried watching Clannad, but it was a bit boring in the first episode, so I've left it until later. Also, I've heard only After Story brings the baws.

I watched the first episode of High School of the Dead a couple nights ago.
Seemed fun if you're into zombies. Though there's alot of fan service, upskirt shots. But that's not always bad.

english dub is only good in some anime

I do too, but I can't help but think how damn much this arc feels more like a filler than the anime's current filler arc. All the new characters are starting to wear on me, so the whole clone wars thing is actually kind of entertaining.
The first season of it wasn't nearly as good. After Story I would HIGHLY recommend. Also forgot to add something I haven't seen: Magic Knight Rayearth (yeah it's old, but a good series)

OMG YES. The manga and anime storylines are COMPLETELY different and involve (mostly) the same characters, but both are extremely well done. Definitely in my top 10.
I like people mentioning Clannad, thought it was great, Clannad was more humourous with some touching moments, After Story is just full of BAAAAAAAW moments.

Ahaha, the video game's cute, but the anime is actually quite heartwarming--if you ever get a chance to watch all like... 60 episodes, try it. :D But uh, the OVA... is kinda... weird. It's good, but definitely yet another twist to the whole magical girl-mecha... thing.
Haven't read all 15 pages, but madoka magica is AMAZING. one of the best animes ever...
It was definitely a good anime, didn't understand all the hype, though! It made me feel progressively more and more depressed from episode to episode--pretty much takes you from the mood in the OP to the mood in the ED (AMIGAD Yuki Kajiuraaaaa <333).
It's probably already been said... But I've been watching Fairy Tail (loving it), Blue Exorcist (enjoying it just started recently), and one I thoroughly suggest is Eden of the East.
just finished both hellsing and hellsing ultimate and recently mushi-shi. I'm watching bit last exile but looking for some more along the hellsing / mushi line or maybe something more cerebral
