What's the point in having anon accounts anymore? You shouldn't be here if you don't play, or haven't played, FFXI. It doesn't make sense to me. No offense, but Serj is a great example. Your character is named Serj and you actively play FFXI. Why do you need another Serj even though we already know you're Serj? I can see it being a good idea if you have a lot of characters you want to bundle under one account, but that would make sense and it's rare for people to use anon accounts for making sense. Just like the OP said, these accounts are getting used for stupid reasons and I don't see the point in their existence.
Better question, why do ~certain~ people assume that when a few different people don't agree with their stupidity, that all of those who don't agree are in fact, one person?

I've stated it in 2 other threads, but I'll say it again.
I post on this account because I like the avatar and don't want to change my main's avatar!
Also, posting on a anon-but-not-anon account is like playing on hard mode. You can't delete or edit posts. Once you hit submit, you gotta suck up and deal with what's posted.
I'm just anon account cuz i somehow made it that way >.>a lol. I like this avatar better anyway xD for some reason i can't change it on my Asura.Shiroineko one...
I have an alt char, though I've never used her on a forum. She's not really anon, she's on my account with 'This is Liela' clearly stated in her profile comment. Her name is Magnoliia.
Magnoliia is one of my mules on Odin, and I check her here once in awhile to see if my stuff has sold. I suppose I could post on her for kicks and giggles, but it wouldn't take a genius to figure out that she's me. My other mule, Amarantha, has never been to Jueno, so I see no need to make a convenient place here to check her wares. I don't have anything to say that I'm too ashamed to say on Liela, anyways.
Personally I have posted under different names on FFXIAH in the past, as my character name has changed, (See: Xed, Xedal) and I was Hitode on FFXI until I quit, I have unlinked them from this account since though, and I'm not going to make an anon account simply so I can rate someone up or down, I get 1 rate for each post lol, that's fair enough... And I'd rather lose an argument fairly than win it unfairly, and look like an obvious twatface for trying to in the process.
