Looks cool, EGM had an article on it this month too, nice looking concept art and interesting ideas.
As for "wah, wah, console onry"...whatever. At least this way it won't be hacked to bits by nerds whose only means of making a game fun are to take the fun out of it for everyone else. I want to feel like I'm living out "28 Days Later", not having six 3rd party programs simultaneously telling me there's a zombie leader 1.2 miles northwest and then having said programs turn on god mode and go kill it for me. Exciting. Edit: probably should've said Dawn of the Dead instead of 28 Days Later, oh well. Still a good movie, lol.

I just finished reading the Morningstar books and I'd really highly recommend them. The Author died sadly, but his family have got someone to write the third book with his notes.
