Wyvern is a bit flimsy yeah, but new helmet helps to heal it, and spirit link can be useful too, especially with empathy and the transfer of half your wyvern's tp to yourself.
It's not that bad, but you're right, shedding enmity does have its downsides part of the time, but its not hard to cap enmity anyway so its hardly a big deal.
It's DD potential is restricted by the fact that there are hardly any decent weapons for it, since the relic is a big hunk of crap, the mythic would be nice, and the empyrean is such a *** to get.
