I don't have the means to get the actual Emp. weapon, and I've heard some of the new WSes are at least on par with relic WSes. I haven't heard much on the sword WS, so my question is this:

Is this worth getting at all, or should I just work on using Sanguine Blade? I don't have the means to get the actual Emp. weapon.

Doubt it would be worth it. I mean the wss are tending to be crazy good. But how much are you wsing on blu compared to spell dmg?

Sure go for it...if not for the WS for the sword ...its the 2nd highest damage sword for Blu besides almace If the WS happens to be good its a plus lol

Is there even any info on this WS yet? I dunno though, without the AM effect the WS itself would have to be pretty awesome (Which I don't doubt it is).

I'd say wait on more info to surface before making a decision like that, and seriously consider trying for the real one, the difference might not seem like a lot, but it really truly is.

Tbh, in abyssea on most things you can just spam spells with almost infinite MP due to meds/atma. So depending on atma, and maybe outside abyssea old content I would say its only a toy for most part. I know someone on my server has it, they did decent dmg on a EM gigas outside the WOE.

The main reason it would be worth it is if it has Gravitation or Darkness element, solo darkness with Quad. Continuum? {Yes Please}

This whole intro strangely resembles the popular refrain of the 1989 song "Endless Rain"... And if it comes from Japan, there's no way to deny it was intentional. Because Endless Rain is the most played song ever on Japanese radio... Every Japanese person has heard it at least twice. If not thousands of times.

I would say it's worth it. the fact now that we can sub war or any other DPS boosting sub. While not loseing the ability of Dual wield .You can spam spell's till Ca Efflux is up self sc then go back to spamming. Rinse and repeat and magic burst it too if you want

Well most blus only spam magic and they tend to run out fast imo even in abyssea I see it. I honestly prefer to sneak in skillchains whenever possible since you get more dmg and have your other spells free after the SC to spam the mob dead. So if this WS is better than Vorpal blade would be most worth it. Blu can do some ws almost as good as some of its spells quad isnt our only one :P

Just saw someone named Rethi with the 85 version of Almace do a 3401 Chant du Cygne on a Squib in Misareaux Abby. Granted, she was PLD, but that's damn impressive.

Probably Razed Ruin + Voracious Violet atmas... How does Vorpal fare with those atmas? Haven't tried it, prefer a refresh atma for obvious reasons~

Depends on how you play your BLU. I personally run him in three different modes, one of which being just a straight melee DD, equiping sword skill +, attack +, acc + and haste, not really worrying too much about Blue Magic skill + or magical accuracy. This usually isn't for higher level mobs, or mobs requiring zerg. NM's with a lot of HPs, NM's that have high resist rate to my spells, or fights that take a long time, I'll switch to this mode, alternating between Vorpal Blade, Savage Blade, and Sanguine. If the new WS is better than those (I don't know, I haven't gotten it yet nor seen evidence from anyone testing it.) then I would use it.

Probably depends on buffs and user. But given refresh is pretty nice and the best refresh atma has 50 int on it... I'm betting Sanguine might kinda pull ahead.
