i heard some jobs are coming in a later update. also hope they add gobbie bags or something like that becuase 80 isnt enough fills up so quick. add needs to add an area so when i pick hands only hand items pop up and i dont have to go looking for them.

If just about every item didn't have three hq versions, the space wouldn't be too bad right now. As is, I have two chars and two retainers nearly full. Also, more things should stack to 99 (like feathers).

I was wondering if 999 earth shards will convert to 1 earth crystal.
Last night i hit 999 e.shards but i think once 999 it wont convert to a crystal or make another ???/999 group.

So I had to sent all crystals to retainer so i can keep getting goodies.

... When is S.E. adding the God Forsaken Auction house?????????

1 crystal x fine sand = 16 shards / 4 cyrstals / 32 shards / 48 shards

its a synthesis that goes from crystals to shards.

Now you can get 24 cyrstals from a cluster using the matching moraine at level 30

by all accounts they aren't. They are going to section off the wards to have each type of item, similar to isles on a grocery store. IE Black Ward = Weapons, White ward = armor etc.

That makes sense, hopefully they'll add a search menu to find who's selling what youre looking for... seems like a good use for that "Bulletin board" in the middle section in between each side of the ward. A "search" option should pop up in the menu when you get close to it :P

Gamespy delivers 2 out of 5 stars.

Hopefully these reviews will teach a leasson not to rush their games out, I'd blame that Wada ***, especially when I read he tells his team not to worry about what people saying on the internet... lol...

There's no need to worry about the internet! It's not like millions of people don't read anything on it or anything. It's just porn. Lots and lots of porn. Oh and how to extend your penis up to 4 inches.

It takes less than 20 min to patch the game after the first install. I've down it twice since release.

I wonder if this guys also noticed that IJKL is also used to move the char. Looks like we have an idot playing video games.

This guy didn't play. You clearly see the yellow circles on the big map, that's where you fight things. The mob appear in red in the minimap only, but why would you pull the big one when the mobs are right in front of you.

This guy must really be dump. There are plenty of problems right now, but the combat system is rather simple. Srsly he didn't understand that in order to kill a mob he has to press '1'.



Here is what happens : he played up to level 10, all he did was guildleves. He is mad because he cannot do GL all days (which would be more grind that find a camp and kill ***). He is mad because you don't get level up in instant gratifivation events.

yea i loved watching all the video's of the reviewer playing. specially when they are a lvl 3 trying to fight the hardest mob in the area lol.

I think they might still have wanted to keep the party play on FFXIV hence why they limit the ammount of leves per day, most people that make fuss of that though are WoW kids, I mean, what's the point of playing a MMO if you are going to play by yourself most of the time, or alone? Too bad though that the seek party system kinda blows.

A living world that evolves instead of one that stays the same and has an ending. Just because you play alone doesn't mean you don't enjoy a more alive world. You can still have friends even though you do missions and quests alone, they don't need to go hand in hand.

This game sure is getting hit pretty hard by reviews... I'm starting to lose hope on a positive review.

Just wanted to say, it's 50 characters per account, 10 per realm(server).

I only see 2 main flaws with this game and only 1 of them is keeping me from playing as much as I want.

1) Party search function is dumb

2) No search/sorting or otherwise efficient way to looking through retainers.

Everything else is either extremely minimal or something that can be easily overlooked. The combat is no different than any other MMO since WoW and you can only do 8 GL a day, but that just means that you are required to do something other than quest from 1-max.

I seriously don't think the reviewers have played the game in all honesty. If they DID play the game and still have those opinions, then it is quite obvious that they 1) Never even looked at FFXI or 2) Never played ANY MMO at launch. You want Content? Wait for an expansion.....derp

Search their characters, the majority din't even get past level rank 14 >_> Most of these seem to just want to throw a review because SE asked them to, they gave even longer review time to Aion, and other crappier MMO's and they gave FFXIV only 19 days.

Wow, are you and sage sundi taking hits off the same blunt? I guess you're the market they are targeting.. people that don't care whether the product is near complete or not. I also think the gameplay is a step back from FFXI where FFXI wasn't too hot to begin with in that department.

First off, MMO's are never "complete." Second, in your opinion, how is it not "complete?" There are mobs, items, characters, NPCs, quests, etc. I don't see anything missing, other than maybe an AH, that would normally be there in other MMOs. Maybe chocobos, but even in FFXI we couldn't use Chocobos in the Wings of the Goddess expansion areas for a hell of a long time so again, I honestly don't see the problem.

i think should use the arrows to move camera. and targeting needs to be fixed. maybe some side quest would be nice also. but other then that it doesnt bother me that much. oh also a drop box for items that equip in that slot like main hand only main hand items come up would be alot faster.

It sounds like you wanted the reviewers to look at the worst expansion launch for FFXI and have them compare it to FFXIV and come to the conclusion that it's par for the course and thus, not so bad.

MMOs should be polished, and their framework for content expansion should be near complete on launch. This game is riddled with bugs and people are hoping for massive overhauls that'll improve UI and add an auction house. Their intentions of improving wards is actually a scary thought that it might be far down the road.

I don't see much that they could do with the UI so I'm not even worried about that and no, I just want the Reviewers to FAIRLY review the game like they did WoW and FFXIII (which was horrible...) Instead, the reviewers are taking a game that is 3 weeks old now, getting a few levels in the game and doing a harsh, half-assed, highly inaccurate, ill-informed, shitty review on the game.

It pisses me off that in most of these reviews I hear something along the lines of "battle system is difficult" or "the areas are too big." Herp derp its a freaking MMO of course the areas are going to be fairly large and if you think that pressing numbers 1-0 is difficult then you need to take your happy little *** back to Super Monkey Ball.

I agree completely. I use my PS2 controller to play, and love it. Just for reference, I couldn't stand FFXI with keyboard either.

Just don't play the game you 2...stick to 11 problem solved. I'm enjoying the game myself... a lot servers are crowded more people are joining this so called garbage game lol. I think half the people QQing haven't even played the game lmao. There might be choco's in the game already and no one has found out how to unlock them yet.
