Freezing Problem

My friend has been having issues with the game freezing on her. Her laptop is perfectly capable of handling the specs and all drivers are up to date. But still it will freeze on her almost every time she logs on. My thought was that there might be a problem with one of the game files and she currently reinstalling the game. Could there be another issue we aren't looking at and should try to fix?

Spyware/adware could be one reason.. Unnecessary programs running in the background won't help things either.

Does she have dedicated graphics in her laptop? Even though the specs may meet the requirements if her graphics are integrated rather than dedicated chances are she won't be able to play FFXIV on it.
