Abyssea NM's And The !!'s List.

Okay, so I'm looking to compile information for the !!'s that the monsters show in Abyssea. I've checked multiple sources, but there's no mass compilation for this list. Even wiki is lacking information for this, nor has a designated spot to add the !! information. As of right now, it looks like every NM can do it, and reward possibly an Atma, along with full drops, IF the !!'s are exposed.
If the mobs end up not having one. I'll put a N/A, or XX in the spots on the graph, but this can still serve as a mass monster list.
I'll break the NM's up by zone, keep editing OP, and troll the thread to find any information people post. Please help me, if your group kills an NM and figure out how to get the !!, let me know on this thread. Also going to list the messages displayed in the chat log, that hinders the monsters performance, known as... stagger?

I'll still keep compiling whatever is found until its un-necessary. There might even be a correlation such as job claimed/job !!'s. And then even day of the week or w/e. (Hence the colors?)

Until we find more information i'll keep making this. Worse comes to worse, it'll be a nice table of NM's for a quick reference guide.

I've fought Khalimari a few times, koki proc'd !! once.

I fight Whiro about 3+ times a day and have tried every imaginable connection to what procs !! and there isn't one. It's completely random.

ive seen flash trigger !! on whiro, but cant remember color or which day it was

man thats so weak...i thought that crap was consistent :(

To my knowledge it's completely random and only has a chance at that.

I've fought Chukwa where my first 9 Aspir IIs didn't do anything only to have 2 of the final 4 Aspir II casts force yellow/green !! rage.

I've fought mobs where every other Flash from my PLD yellow/green !! raged a mob.

I kinda feel like it's pre-determined list of a few spells/phys. WS/elem. WS once the mob is claimed then it's also a certain percentage at a chance that whatever the game chose will cause the rage.

Ive triggered it with Bliz IV on Windsday.
Have also triggered it with Flash.
Got some damn good drops when its triggered too.
Was green !! iirc

wait, so certain !! weakness triggers cause a rage? does that basically make the mob unkillable?

BG Abyssea NM Weaknesses

I have an unfounded theory that the element of the Weapon Skill for !! is based on the day.

We had Cyclone trigger !! on Eccentric Eve and Rasokovnik in the same run, both on Windsday. Someone with a bit more time and energy can test that if it hasn't been debunked already.

iirc it's something like:

Blue !! - Caused by random Physical Weapon Skills : Increased Equipment Drop Rate.
------
Red !! - Caused by random Elemental Weapon Skills : 100%/increased Atma Drop Rate.
------
Yellow/Green !! - Caused by Random Magic : Increased Item Drop Rate on Craftable/Other items [not gear.]

After about 8 Ovnis I was able to trigger I believe Red !!s, but that sucker was too big for me to see the colors >_> dropped an atma though.

Used Tachi: Jinpu, and it would give a message saying Ovni was temporarily terrorized or something to that effect. Unfortunately, since that first fight I haven't been able to get it to proc on any other Ovni spawns, so it may be random. :/

As for Red !!, there are 13 Elemental WS that trigger it, and every time it's a different WS. I have a list at home, so can post it later, for now I can say that none of them is Mythic, Relic or Empyrean. From memory - Dagger: Cyclone+Energy Drain, Katana: Blade:Ei, Polearm: Raiden Thrust, Great Katana: Jinpu+Koki, Sword: 2 WS(can't remember), Club: 1 WS (can't remember), Staff: 2 WS (can't remember), Great Sword: Freezebite, Scythe: Shadow of Death. No other WS anywhere was reported to proc Red !! ever (well, there was 1 report of Energy Steal, but it's likely mixed up with Energy Drain). Cover all of these and you'll get your atma.
