Final Fantasy Versus XIII [Trailer]

Well a short trailer was just recorded from the TGS 2010.



Is it wrong... I'm actually excited? XIII was a giant failure in my book, buy I'm loving the look of this. I miss the turn based system, but I'm actually liking the look of a hack'n'slash FF game.

Loving the graphic style and stuff too.

Im looking forward to FF13 vs. because its ment to be the first gorey/mature FF game.

Pretty much same. And I'd much prefer a real time battle system, than the mess that was XIII.

Proper turn based system > Real time combat > XIII's system

Looks like it. If they do this correctly and actually make a long FF game I could be happy.

They've already announced there's a world map which is always a +.

It would be nice if you could have 3 characters and have them fight whilst you switch to them too.

They'd be on auto-pilot but you could switch to them, kinda like Star ocean or Tales of ><

Would be very nice indeed :O Since you're in the know on TGS '10 Flion, anything unexpected been announced? (apart from this lol)

SE PLEASE!!!! allow open-world exploration again, the worst part about FFXIII was that you couldnt choose what you did I like being able to side-track and explore, do mini-quests etc.

the last really good FF game for me was 9, 10 didnt really allow for much and it was too short.

Well a world map has been confirmed for a long time now.

By that I mean

Overworld map, not like XIII, as in you actually have an overworld map with random encounters.

as long as it includes a free roaming world-map, a nice long story line, lots of quests/side quests, CHOCOBO'S! and a more mature theme im sold, they need to bring-back some of the features of FF7-9. oh and let us choose if we want Active or turn based battles fast paced fighting is good untill you get to a boss where you want time to think.

I think I actually made a post a while a go with a list of things I wanted in a new FF title, let's see if I can dig it up...

*** yes, exploration. Hated not being able to run around and explore in 13 until the very end. That's a huge reason why I disliked it.
