Abyssea Reputation

Does doing the martello replenish quests give you fame? There are quests that give you Magian items for the AF3, but don't have enough fame to start, was hoping this was an easy way to earn fame. I've done all the other's i can find...

Many of them are repeatable, and you will need to repeat them to get enough fame to advance.

for ppl that wonder about abyssea fame n quest, I've started them yesterday. 90% of the quest can b repeat when u re-enter abyssea except "refuel & replenish" which can b done 1/hr to a max of 4 time per abyssea. 1main quest in each zone involve killin a few NM to complete story(only 1 NM need to b kill for the story but required ~3 pop item that drop from ~3 NM)

I have ~90% of konschtat quest completed at fame1 n havent changed yet. few quest r item u can farm from funguar or limule n other new monster; can always bought them from auction house but item like limule pincer is 22k each atm in bismarck n fame seem to b slow to gain so if i plan to buy them u will spend a lot.

reward for doin quest r small cruor/cheap item at first but after fame ~4 its mostly key item for time bonus, exp/cruor/chest/stat boost, able to hold more stone, lower the time between stone to 20hr

Anyone know how many quests it takes to get lvl 3 in vunkerl? i have the whisker for the celerity abyssite quest, just wondering if i can do it in 3 stones

Ive been doing Aqua Puraga (gotta do Aqua Pura first). Seems to take under 10min, and ive had a few seals for feet drop too. Too bad tigers arent up on Gilga yet, need moar stones!

What do tigers have to do with stones?

Edit: apparently they drop Crimson Celerity abyssite that gives -4hr stone replenish time

i went from 0 fame to enough for the quest by doing: Aqua pura, Aqua Puraga, a Ward to End All Wards x2, and The Boxwatcher quest x5 with heavy pack

Edit: The tigers dont drop the stone, they drop Black Whisker(also a NM pop) which is used for the quest. Its a pretty common drop, just like every other NM pop in abyssea(alkaline humus etc)

And that quest gets you the abyssite? 2 stones a day would be sweet.

Well at least this means i wont be going 1/100 like i did on the one off tonberrys!

1/6ish... but I ended up having to help others kill alot cause they supposedly couldn't solo... but when i wanted to kill bakka which was right there they didn't even want to try even though we had like 12 people with us lol

Yes the quest gives you the stone. I bought the whisker off the AH for 100k, traded it to him, got my stone, and sold the whisker back. You keep the whisker after the quest.

Where are the tigers even supposed to spawn? And I bet these take forever on Ramuh just like tonberries did lol

Apparently from what people have said. I'm really scouting for tigers so when they pop I'm def testing the quest for myself.

Well 12 depending on how many other celaries you have :). I wonder if you have the 2 others if it would go down to 8...

Theres only two, Azure and Crimson. 12 is the lowest for now

It could be that they got it from a gold chest rather than from the tigers themselves? A half developed amber light will give you T1 pop items.

Yeah I've gotten pop items from chests too.

Anyone have any info on the quest: Family Ties, in vunkerl?

I've not been able to start it, I'd assume I have very high fame from spamming the repeatable quests in the area.
