Deus Ex Automata

Before I even give thoughts on what this JA could do, I just have to share my reaction to the JA translating to "God in the machine" with you all...

That out of the way, I think we can all agree that the hindering factor of using this effect could be any or all of the following.
-Automaton is summoned with reduced HP/MP
-Automaton could be activated with no attachments.
-Automaton will be activated Overloaded/Burden at max.

Another effect could be that it's activated into a random frame; stripping all attachments. Can't wait to see!

I wonder if it does happen to havewhat the cool down time would be for the auto to return to normal..
Im sure that oils would help with the HP but honesty, with no attachments, and no ability to put up manuevers, how effective will this be... especially if its a random frame... it would really have to be powerful for anyone to use that /ja IMO

Again, all of this is just speculation until it's actually released. But yeah, would be rather pointless.

Speculation obviously, but it sounded to me like a Call Automaton that you could use if your regular recast wasn't up that would give you an Automaton that's not quite right.

No attachments is silly. Not full hp/mp is... meh, don't like that answer. Closer to overload than normal seems plausable, or even already overloaded. Or some kind of "weakness" such as increased delay/recasts. Basically, your 20 minutes isn't up, and you need an automaton right now. Deus Ex Automata.

Deux Ex Machina translates to "God from a machine" or "out of a machine," not "in."

Your automaton will come out riding a horse with a large valkyrie type spear, and do a death attack with a high chance of being useless!
