as long as the whole "SCH > BLM" thing stays how it is i'll be happy :D nothing better than hearing blms cry when they see a sch's dmg... music to my ears.

WHMs won't ever be using Aurorastorm on themselves because it's a level 55 SCH spell. Well, either way I expect we'll be seeing T2 storms, although this all seems slightly off topic, as the OP was asking about level 99 merits as far as I can tell.

SCH will never beats BLM. period.
Edit: I meant BLM is gonna get better spells and abilities in next update. We shall see who is powerful. That's up to SE.

I thought people like Kaeko(Kaea/Kanican) already proved that sch can out-DoT a blm mainly because of parsimony nuking. Though i think that BLM beats sch with is constant spike damage? Better Gear? IDK D:. But being able to manipulate the weather and ebullience are those things crazy about SCH.
I always liked the buffing aspect of SCH/RDM. Maybe Stormsurge II merits where it adds things like attack to firestorm in addition to the stat, cause a +7 stat alone seems like it's gonna be kinda lol at 99.

lol rate down bc i said sch > blm? Both are respective in certain ways.. im just saying that i have never seen a blm out nuke one of my tier IVs.. EVER. yes blm will get new spells.. but im sure sch will as well.. im just waiting to see how bad Meteor will suck and watch all the sadfaces :) I think scholar will get all the teir spells like before maybe up to 6 which i doubt is going that high but they just won't give the ovious spells like alway for both sides like ga spells survival spells {SS,blink,phalanx} and Am spells which might include all the spells in this video
