Yeah, i've heard alot of people tell me that, been tossing that up as well, still got 33k to 78 to decide lol. It would be an upgrade from what you currently use. Not counting the swift belt for either gear set, you currently have 11% haste with that gear. Full Perle set would give you 14% haste. (also more offensive stats.. str, attack etc.) Once you can get Byakkos's Haidate though, you will be at 16% haste. As I said in one of the many other hundred SAM threads Askar isn't that bad a choice anymore, but it's always good to carry Hauby +1 for times in need and yes especially Penta spam.
Right now with Marinara Pizza +1 if I put Askar body on I have nearly 470acc. Overkill for a lot of things, but it can enable Sword Strap usage. So you'd trade 3.5 ATK for 6 STR/DEX that are both Penta mods, minimal mods but they're both mods.
I've barrowed a haub+1 and tried hours and hours of testing. No dice.
Also for rana it's out damaged.

Here is my current tp setup I get a 3 hit with this build beats any haste setup out there for obvious reasons. If I can get a Cor I have him do SAM roll bring me to 2 hit build so ws hit ws hit ws. Kills anything short of fully upgraded relic.
