Not really, unless you're playing bots. But even then, it's no different than any other game in that aspect. >.>

Unless you are bottom with a support starting with 2 wards + CV, pushing your lane will be very punishing.
A decent jungler will make people use their flash and then come back before the cooldown is back. Warding helps a lot but good junglers can avoid them easily, or if you are too over extended, you'll use flash but die anyways.
In the 1600 ELO's, pushing your lane early is going to get you killed, a lot.
lol It's really not hard to pay attention and take care. I'm not saying I don't ever get killed in ganks, but I'm fairly good at not allowing it to happen. Regardless of how hard I'm pushing. Map awareness is key and can be done without a support spamming wards and CV.
(Wards are amazing, not down playing them. Just saying you don't have to be extreme to pay attention.)
