VNM - Tammuz

I need to kill this one 8 times for my Mozu path. Wiki dont give a whole lot of info on this NM except for it having a cone attack petro breath.

I kinda want to know if anyone who have fought him think that its possible to "solo" him as NIN80/DNC40 with the help of a soothing healer NPC lv 70?

If not, I'm looking for other ppl that needs this kill as well, or that needs to upgrade abyssite and wanna help kill him with their pop.

It kind of feels like T2 VNM's should be ok to solo/duo/trio these days.

Has constant Mighty Strikes and double attacks frequently. I wasn't able to land Slow on it, so I just terrain glitched it as rng & rdm, dies in like 10minutes.

Did do a fight though with a RNG SAM WHM, was fine as long as you have full TP, MP, and are ready to spam cure. Just go for full damage and kill it ASAP.

How is his acc?

And you know if gravity and/or bind lands on him? Maybe he will be soloable as RDM80 if NIN/DNC wont work?

Edit: scrated that part, aparently I'm HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE. Obviously cant solo the VNM for Mozu on RDM lol

Gravity/Bind/Para/Poison do not work on him. If anything, Slow may work, I tried it like twice, said screw it and glitched him.

He's soloable by RDM/NIN with Powder Boots to pull to a pin spot.

You can evasion tank it fairly easily with a whm or /whm for stona.

Killed it at 3 (THF/NIN WHM/SCH RDM/WHM)

I havent done VNM in a long time now. Did they change anything in the way you upgrade the abyssites?

Back when i did VNM's the last time for ToM, I dont think I ever had to kill any more than 5 T1 to get the coloful abyssite. Now I have spent like 4 hours and killed well over 50 T1 VNM without getting the colored one.

This AM I went 1/35 on T1s.
Got a Grey one later and went to go get another colorful.
Went 1/3 on them.
So yeah, totally random.

speaking of tammuz, anyone know any position where you can pin him? I had to solo or duo most of the t2 for ultimatum on drk as its kinda hard to find ppl who need it. I cant find any info on pin spots for this one though, if anyone knows of any.

Yeah.

I spent 60+ kills in jugner getting nothing. went to E ron and got color after 2 kills.

Me and a friend managed to pop Chesma instead of tammuz 2 times in a row. We both got greay from it, 2/2. that kinda sux.

Back to E ron and got color after 4-5 kills. This time managed to kill Tammuz 3 times before it changed color.

in La Theine Plateau we popped him around E-7

in Konschtat Highlands around K-7

in Tahrongi Canyon around F-5

We managed to duo him once as WHM & NIN, he hits like a truck 400-480 on NIN with pro V on. And have fairly high double attack rate, seems to get higher at lower HP.

The last 2 times we trio it NIN WHM DNC, still wasnt an "easy" fight, thanks to the high double attack, and if you get caught w/o shadows he can basically 1 shot you (if he double attack)

Seems immune, or very resistant to enfeeb, both ninjutsu and from WHM80/SCH40. Aisha: Ichi lands though, but dont really make a difference as hard as he hits.

my Ls did it a couple of times, We had 2 nins with evasion build with a Cor using evasion rolls. Also had a Whm and me as a bst using rabbit pet. Rabbit stole hate Alot which did help ninjas alot. Rabbit also hit it hard and did a 500+ footkick. As long as you can keep blink up its not to hard

Still need to kill this sucker 5 more times. Anyone willing to team up or help out, please let me know.

killing him is part of ToM: 1092, 1200, 1292, 1462, 1508, 1600, 1758 so someone else should be needing to kill him besides me lol

Still havent been able to find people for this really. Tried to duo with a DRK/WHM (for stona), didn't go over too well.

Again, there's gotta be more people than me who needs this VNM on carby :(

Get two THF, a BRD and a WHM and they (the THFs) can duo it. :P

Well I need to kill it on nin, since I'm doing it for Mozu.

@ Airbag pin it where? Also I have found out that people are crappy, really crappy. I've duod him 4 times as whm and nin, granted it was hard but it was possible. Last time I shouted I got 3 ppl to help, RDM, DRK & DNC.

Shouldnt have been a problem with this setup, right?

3 tries and we couldnt get it below 40%. RDM went AFK in the beginning of the fight, DNC wouldnt save his tp to help healing but insisted on ws every 100 tp.

Kind of annoying to shout for hours, just to find ppl that barely know how to do their jobs.

This is at E-9 in Konschtat Highlands.
I haven't tried on NIN, But I'm sure with some luck you could do it with Ninjutsu Nukes or on NIN/RNG.

Meh Fleetool. Everything that it's needed for is generally doable without.

riding a bike 10 miles to work is doable

but it's still more convenient to use a car
