Teal Chapeau Vs. Selenian Cap

So I got my AMK helm for BLM right before the update, aug'd with Int+4 Mag. Acc+2 , Mag.Atk Bonus +2.

Now, I'm not a career BLM so my Elemental skill is not fully merited(4/8) and I'm wondering if the Int+6 on Teal beats this in most situations.

I've done some reading here and there and I see alot of conflicting points of view on how Int affects Macc. If anyone could please break it down to me exactly how that works I'd appreciate it too.

Short answer no. Just like demon helm +1. Though that you can at least augment

At best it will have the same macc at worse 1 less. Always less dmg.

Damage wise the AMK hat will always win. As far as Macc 1 Int = .5 or 1 macc depending on your current resist rate. So teal is 3 or 6 and AMK is 4 or 6. More often than not it will be 1 INT = .5 so AMK wins

INT MAcc is: INT/2 - INT

In your case, Teal will give 3-6 MAcc based on the enemies INT.

AMK Head will give 4-6 MAcc, based on the enemies INT. (2-4 from INT, +2 from MAcc).


At a guess, AMK head would still be better.
