Beta Invites

Did they go out yet. If not any idea on when they will?

I know of 2 of my friends who got emails the other day

No email would be send out for this beta, Only alpha are invite. At least for now from a interview with SE seem more invite would be send out with beta2 which become a 24hour beta testing.

If beta invite was going to be send out wont be this week and only few would be added at best.

Lots of Beta invites were sent out yesterday, i think they may still be being set out. I havent got one yet :(

You can find it on the official SE website somewhere, can't remember where now. Funny thing is, I think it also says something like, mentioning the NDA itself is breaking the NDA, which makes it kinda odd that it's publicly viewable.

I've reput up my app for it like 5 times because it "Expired" and they honestly don't seem to give a ***lol.

That's what popped in my head, lol.

I played for a while the other night, and I'm not a fan. Maybe the actual release will be better, but I won't be buying it so I guess I will never know.

It's much more pleasing on the eyes than FFXI, but I just didn't enjoy the interface.

My friend got his invite a few days ago. I on the other hand did not. :(

This is exactly the reason the NDA exists btw, so that people don't judge a game based on peoples opinions of an early beta version. Anyone that's actually in the beta should also know that even at this stage, nothing is final, and not judge too harshly.

Odd they are sending invites out now, considering the first Beta test has already happened... Maybe they are actually adding more people with each window to the point where it will be a *** to log on and stay logged on.

Have to make sure the game can function with many people on it at once, yo.

Well to be fair, I wasn't really planning to play it anyway. I gave it a try in hopes that maybe it would sway me, but it did not.

NDAs are jokes. Any company that expects a mass player base of testers to not say anything is naive at best. Also anyone who bases their purchase of the game on my opinion is equally as naive.

I will say this though. I enjoy character customization as much as the next guy. It however should not take 30 minutes to make a character. There comes a point when enough is enough, and if the actual game includes even more customization than the beta; you guys will have a great time spending an hour creating a character.

I believe lag might have played a role in my dislike as well. The battle interface was pissing me off, but I think it was due to the huge amount of lag with all the people all over the starter area.
