Initial Notes:
WS is gained at 290 skill, however, notification may not appear and you may have to zone for the WS to appear on your WS list.
Does not stack with Sneak or Trick Attack.
(Done in campaign) Flash Duration seems to be approximately ~10-12 seconds at 100% TP.
Flash duration/process does not appear to be increased by WSing infront of the mob.
Flash Process rate at 100% TP seems rather high.
Casting Flash(spell) after using Flash nova seems gives the 'X's Flash had no effect on the Y.' I'd assume that means that it works similarly to flash, in that the newer one cannot overwrite the previous one.
Appears to have skillchain properties of Reverberation.

{Target is Wild Rabbit, level 1, E_Ronfaure, Weapon is Purgatory Mace DMG 41}

CONCLUSION : MND appears to effect damage by a 2MND:1DMG Ratio, unknown if it effects flash duration or potency. This is because mobs die right after being WS'd.

Trial 4 : More STR gear

CONCLUSION : STR does not appear to be a modifer of Flash Nova. -3 damage (comparison to Trial 2) might be caused by the difference in INT or MND.

Trial 5 : More INT gear

CONCLUSION : INT does not appear to be a modifier. -2 dmg (comparison to Trial 1) could be marked as the difference of 6MND between the 2 gearsets. Unless there is a specific cap on the difference on INT between self and target mob. Requires more testing.

Trial 6 : More MAB gear
Insufficent MAB gear to do a proper test. What? I'm a whitemage >.>;

Currently unknown things :
If Flash DURATION or POTENCY is increased by TP.
If Flash effect from WS overwrites, stacks or is negated by Flash spell.
If I would ever use it instead of Mystic Boon then casting Flash.

tl;dr version : Flash Nova is pretty poor, hitting DC mobs (to 79) for approximately 290 dmg. WS seems to be modified by MND, but not by STR or INT. Flash duration is rather short, and unknown if it stacks with the spell equivalent.

If anyone is capable of doing the mathematics behind this WS then feel free to update the wiki/BG. I'm going to try testing this WS out at 300% TP, see if it differs.

Its damage seems fairly consistent from the couple times I used it before getting bored of it and reverting back to Hexa Strike. Being a melee WHM and more concerned with damage, it was easily written off as a viable damage WS (._. as with all other Light elemental Club WSes)
I've heard that it generates a good amount of hate (like Flash) so I reckon it wouldn't be so bad for a PLD, but I have yet to test this myself since I abandoned PLD at Maat level.

Magic dmg tends to be rather consistent since it has no pdif function.

Chances are the reason int did nothing is because most magical ws use fint instead of fstr. So just like using a physical ws without str secondary mod against a low lvl mob int most likely wont do anything because you are capped

As far as MAB you could've played with your subs. Hell with blu you could turn it off and on. Not to mention more percisely controlled your stats so you only incrase/decrease the ones in question or ones already determined to do nothing. Blu is also good for this with setting spells. So is cheap low duration food
