Hey thought I'd make a thread about, from what you can tell so far, your gear set ups will look like by lv80. I'm curious to see how everyone's will look like

Blitz ring is like.. iffy for me xD same with bullwhip belt. It's a nice build for maxing haste don't get me wrong :)

Doinitright. Rose Strap instead of Pole Grip for 492 delay polearms (don't need for OAT), otherwise this is basically spot-on. Nocturnus Mail is a the best trade from haste to acc you can make in this build; I doubt you'd have to swap beyond that given pizza but everything's changing with the update so I could be wrong. To be honest even before the update this was about right; Wyrm Mail +1, Dusk +1, and Vbelt were the only significant differences.

Obviously you'd want to use a more up-to-date polearm =P
Why? You honestly shouldn't need acc in the ring slot for nearly anything and there's no good excuse to not like Bullwhip Belt if you can wear it.

Speaking of which, Askar head wryyyyyyyyyyy. Same with Ulth. Ulth is almost always the wrong answer if you're not in Salvage, and even then it's basically just an option for WS and idle... shouldn't really need the acc for TP, nothing is all that evasive there with food.

My thoughts with bullwhip vs goad is that I think the 5 haste and sTP outway 2 more haste( I could be wrong on that though.) having a 6hit without rose or askar sounds more appealing to me. Blitz ring I just have a personal vandetta against when I tosses one out before they raised haste cap. Not that I cant buy a new one now.

I have turban no worries! A lot of the new gear I didn't add cause I'm still hazy on what's being replaced and whats not. The 4 haste gloves and 2 haste body for instance I wanted to add but was still 'eh' on them. I kind of wanted to put Zmail in there as well but now I'm not even sure if it's worth buying.

Like most people right now xD still sifting away and taking it all in.

Edit: forgot to mention I never really thought about full hasting while sacrificing acc/dmg

Pole > Rose is a better trade than Bullwhip > Goading or even VBelt > Goading. Askar's really not that bad a piece either.

Well I've had Askar body for a long time now and I feel it's time to start evolving an askar 6-hit into something a little more diverse.

Goading to me gives me a lot more options to play around with gear without having to sacrifice one thing for another. Don't get me wrong 7% is a massive amount of haste, I'll probably end up getting it for my THF... >< which is a whole new bag of trouble in itself.

Oh, I was just thinking about the total acc I would lose vs the amount of haste I would gain. Like I said I never considered a full haste build before due to losing some acc in the process, but now I feel like buying a blitz ring.... also depending on the difficulty to obtain the pieces will also depend on my getting them, hopefully they aren't too hard to get a hold of.

If you're already at the hitrate cap, you're essentially giving up no acc. Helloooooo pizza!

Again, Rose Strap gives you the flexibility you desire with a far more favorable trade. There's no real increase in flexibility by using Goading instead, just less DPS. However, there's no telling how easy either piece will be to get.
