Ok, got confirmation on my DA math, going to math this out. Though, it will be an approximation, as I'm not sure on the mechanics of TP overflow math, so I'm not going to account for it. So take the math as you will. Again, won't be exact, just a rough estimate.
Going off the set I'll have when I ding 75
77+16+5 str = 98 str
Colibri have 67 vit, which gives us 8fstr
So now we have
Bonesplitter: 108 DMG
Luchtaine: 84 DMG
In my the set up above, we have 22% DA between job trait, merits, and pole grip.
Bonesplitter: 22% DA
Luchtaine: 22% DA, 40% OAT
Bonesplitter will average: 108 x 1.22 = 131.76 DMG/attack round.
For Luchtaine, DA and OAT can't proc at the same time. We'll say DA gets priority (though you'd get the same result if OAT got priority).
Since DA is taking priority, it goes uninterrupted, you get a 22% chance to DA.
For OAT, it has a 40% proc rate, but can't proc when DA procs. So, it can only even has the chance to proc 78% of the time.
.4 x .78 = 31.2% chance to proc.
For each attack, you gain .22 of an attack from DA and .312 of an attack from OAT, for a total DA/OAT rate of 53.2%
84 x 1.532 = 128.668 DMG/attack round on average.
Also, we have 504 vs 514 delay, the 504 delay isn't a 6hit, but if you at least land two hits of your ws (the first hit being one), it's a 6hit. So, we'll call them both a 6hit in this case.
So, for DoT in respect to Stonesplitter
DMG: 131.76/128.668 = 2.403% increase
Delay: 1/(504/514) = 1.984% increase in attack speed
DoT in respect to stonesplitter: 1.02403 x 1.01984 =
4.435% increase
Looking at WS, based on this set
Raging Rush
Stonesplitter:
100 DMG
Fstr: 17
WSC: 49+77+5 str = 131STR 131 x .35 = 45.85~45, 45 x .83 = 37.37~37 WSC = 37
Raging rush is a 3hit WS, this set has capped acc. Under the assumption that only the first two hits can double attack
We have an average of 1.22 + 1.22 + 1 = 3.44 hits per raging rush
With our acc capped at 95%, we have an average of .95 x 3.44 3.268 landed hits.
For simplicity's sake, we will say the first hit lands (since it will have more ftp than the other hits)
Our average ftp will be 3.368
100 (dmg) + 17 (fstr) + 37 (wsc) = 154 DMG
154 x 3.368 = 518.672 average DMG
Luchtaine:
76 DMG
Fstr: 16 (Fstr cap on Luch is 16, so we don't get the 17th dmg)
WSC: 37
76 (Dmg) + 16 (fstr) + 37 (wsc) = 129 DMG
Same FTP as above
129 x 3.368 = 434.472 average DMG
In terms of Stonesplitter:
518.672/434.472 = 19.3798% increase in WS damage.
As said before, Stonesplitter will average 1.22 attacks per and Luchtaine will average 1.532
accounting for no tp overflow
Stone splitter will gain 1.22/1.532 = 79.6345% of the tp as Luchtaine (if you account for TP overflow and WS' gained from meditate, this will be a bit less)
And finally, from delay, the same as earlier
Delay: 1/(504/514) = 1.984% increase in attack speed
DMG: 19.3798% increase
Number of attacks per round: 79.6345% of the number of attacks for Luchtaine
Delay: 1.984% increase
1.193798 x .796345 x 1.01984 =
96.95% of the ws damage as Luchtaine
Assuming a 40/60 DoT/WS split
We have
(1.04435 x .4) + (.9695 x .6) = .99944 x 99.944%
Bonesplitter will do 99.944% of the damage as Luchtaine
If you want to put it in terms of Luchtaine
100/99.944 = 100.056 = 0.056% increase in damage.
They're essentially equal w/o looking at external TP. Once you add in TP gained from meditate, WS lost/not gained from tp overflow, and WS from TP gained from retaliation, they % increase of WS in favor of Luchtaine will decrease,
which makes Bonesplitter our winner.
