CoP Level Cap Removed Area's *discuss*

I dont recall CoP really beeing hard, just annoying.

I've lead countless of statics that I broke because people are idiots.

Once I finally found good ppl to do it with though, it took ~1 week to go from 3 paths to last fight. Alot of that time I was up all nights doing CoP because of time differences, but at that time i was unemployed so it was all good.

And idm that they'll remove the level cap, even if it'll give us more "noobs in sea", sea on this server seems kinda dead anyway.

Lucky you. I've had to cancel or do alot of switching in limbus runs do to random people being in there when we went. Or new lss picking a time that we went without even looking to see if people went around then

Well this should give more incentive to those to get it done and stop procrastinating while at the same time give those who have had to live with doing shout PUGs a break and get right to the nitty gritty faster and get it done.

Although I have a feeling the fights up to Tenzen will still be capped.

My ls does limbus at 9 AM PST. Once every blue moon we have to wait for a JP ls to finish their run.

I was in a group and we had like 3 drop in one run, and I had passed on the right two and lotted mine. One guy out lotted me on mine, and wouldn't lot on the correct one...Leader said "Dude pass Eike's and lot yours already..." and he replied with "No, this is too confusing...." So I lost mine and "his" rotted since I had already passed....And since the ToD is 21-24h, I couldn't get back on with them to do other runs, since I had work and all, and eventually lost ToD ><

I solo'd mine a couple of years ago...

Yup I know.

When I say ppl are idiots I mean this.

* Not bringing proper food/meds/reraise/oils/powders
* Showing up 1 hr late and get all butthurt that 12 other people didnt just stand around waiting for them.
* Not beeing able to take 2 min to read up on what to do and miss important CS's
* Randomly going AFK everywhere and either getting killed or lost.


Just some examples of things people do that I dont wanna waste my time on.

Hmmmm I think I used to do 6pm east since that was about the earliest I'd get home most the time. And about the latest the brit wanted to go lol. Actually alot of peeps seemed to get home around then. But yeah we had one of the big lss tell me we made our time just to *** with them. Even though we never changed our time and they did... and like 2 more at the end started showing up. They'd do weird ***too. Like send 10 melees into SW or something. And then the random rdm blm solo/duos

I still have the mountain climb memorized.

I didn't for the mission but doing the ENM for a year now I do lol. Sometimes to make it more exciting I will pull one of the scorps while I'm on thf/blm with like no gear and see if I can get to the top before it kills me without falling of the ledge or something

^ Nobody comes prepared. Then they say it's too hard. Then SE makes it easier, again.

I don't have smn at 40..and Idk another job that can solo all 10 flies successfully (nor do I have rdm, but that is close if thats the job thats needed, I'll level it....I also need to level it for sub lol)

I did it twice for the mission to help the group up on two different days.

I climbed again for ENM and didn't miss a beat. It had been a couple months in between as well.

There's a reason I personally funded my CoP group...

Hear, hear! I always bring everything that will optimize my performance in the run. I think it's just the responsible thing to do- plus, if I'm serious about completing a mission or quest, I will do whatever it takes to ensure that I will perform to the best of my ability.

Ofcourse not everyone are like that. But it seems alot of ppl believe that someone else is going to do everything for them. Everything from bringing extra meds and food for them (because they "forgot") to take them by their hand and walk them to every npc they need to talk to. That ***gets old really fast.

But once you find people who are dedicated to clear CoP and actually bothers to come prepared, read up on missions and strats, its not that bad at all.

But from my own experience, those people are very rare.

Edit: Its just not enough that 3 of 6 people come prepared.

Sometimes just having 1 person screw up will screw the whole run up for those that were prepared, and make them spend gil on items and stuff for nothing really.

damn, another job I have to raise for my sub (99 cap I mean for sch hehe)...oh ya..and CoP wasn't THAT hard....Idk what the big fuss about its original difficult was.

Promy BC back in the day was semi-difficult, but that was about it... I went 1/1 on mammets after a dry run where we almost won lol (pick up group ftw), and 1/5 or so on U/O (I had to get on ninja and just tank it myself cuz people failed lol) Promath, I think I went 1/1, Pot BC (8-3 I think) I was 1/3 at most, Mithra BC I went 1/6 that was a lil difficult, but I had some dumb people on some of my runs lol (eventually just used 2 smns and 1 pld). Most of my time doing CoP missions was shouting for groups lol. The fights and stuff themselves aren't THAT difficult if people aren't completely brain dead.

Yeah that's what I did. I'd love to see a smn solo it though. I tried on blu/nin with pinecone bomb but for some reason no matter how far away the other flies were it wouldn't let me zone.

I'm all for removing the cap really, it'll make it easier for me to help those of my friends that still havent finished CoP lol

I don't know if you saw my thread about doing Storms of Fate (Bahamut v1) and Divine Might, but the night before we did it I bought 2 stacks of I.Wings.

I was not going to let a lazy moron cost me my fight.

Wow. I'm pretty sure no one in any group I've done any Cop/zilart missions every used Iwings. Or any meds for that matter. Just food RR and whatever item is for that battlefield. And usually 2hrs lol
