I quit scheduling events/expecting people to show up a long time ago, which I understand is annoying for people that liked doing events on certain days. but I noticed people not logging on because they didn't want to do particular events... rather then get dragged into them. which is awful. we all play to relax after a suckass day at work not clock into a second job we also hate

during the abyssea era my wife maintained a detailed excel spreadsheet with how many hours people helped other people get things, in order to earn those people's help in return on their ***.

it worked really well. we lost some people that only wanted to get carried so that they could get in bigger shells but who needs them anyways...

that was then of course... and now there is are no kept records and it's almost completely random. we see who is on, who wants to do what the most or who needs help on whatever and then see who wants to do it.

you don't need any excuse not to join or drop or whatever dude we understand there is more to life than ffxi and Nikolce's maniacal dreams of world domination.
