first you have to admit you were wrong! and then apologize!
I watched a video the other day of someone fixing a clothes washing machine.
My wahing machine broke and I wanted to see how it was done....
Now the first guy I watched was an idiot and I noticed right away that he didn't disconnect any of the intake or output hoses befoe tipping the washer back and I KNEW WHAT WOULD HAPPEN the outtake hose popped off, he didn't notice it and he flooded his laundry room floor.
now I knew that would happen and watched and waited for it to happen because I have worked on my washer before. The experiance of repetedly doing something is greater than the "knowledge" of doing something the first time. It's a learning process and you learn as you go along.
You think you know what is best. but you don't... Because you're still in the process of doing it, and I am telling you that I noticed that the hose has popped off and now I'm waiting for the floor to flood.
If you don't want to believe me THAT'S FINE you didn't ask for my advice anyways. Just ignore it and keep doing what you are doing. But don't sit there and expect not to be called out on it for giving advice prematurely. Hey hey hey. I give a lot of advice, and other things, prematurely and look at me. I was a king ya know! Premature givers unite!

you're missing the point. whose advice would you consider held more merit? someone who has completed a task or someone who is still in the middle of said task? That doesnt make sense, you can have completed a task and have an awfull result, while you can be at said task and be good at it.

Whatever you do dont try and be helpfull at any cost since people will only interprete it like you're being some internet Mother *** Theresa. I think it was less about offering help and more about doing it without being asked.
