My condolences.

Good weekend , mostly time either time for myself or family, simple n stuff.
Sushi on friday, cheeseburger sat, fish taco sunday.
Also ate peeps.

I had...fennel and beans with lentils with some conger and handrolled couscous. We dont do Easter its a workday like any other for me.

Didn't do any Eastery things or meals this weekend.

I grilled burgers on Friday. Made steak sandwiches Saturday. The wife handled food yesterday and we had some things that I wouldn't normally make but were tasty enough.

Installed a new kitchen faucet this weekend, did about 33% of the trimming in my yard I needed to do around rain yesterday. Beat ME: Andromeda.

Watched the Penguins stomp the Jackets twice.

Overall successful weekend.

I hope you finely diced easter eggs and applied them to the pizza as a topping

That and maybe some sliced Peeps

They will never make Good Friday a paid holiday around here. Too many Italian Catholics work here for that; they get like 75% of the office to burn a half/whole day of leave this day and any time they can plan for and effectively negate that much production loss whilst also nixing PTO?

I live like 4-5 hours from my nearest family so I don't really have anything I'm obligated to go to for the holidays, give me random days off with no significance and I'll be happy

My wife works for the state police.

State employees don't get any time off for Easter. It was traded for the day after Thanksgiving.

Which is really more appropriate anyhow. Spending money is American. Easter is a repurposed Pagan Christian holiday.
