A stupid *** windows 10 crap-o update won't apply, stuck in a spinning wheel forever.
This is a common error with your office's system.

You see, your office sucks. However, we have a work around to fix this while we work on a proper fix.
Please take the following steps to remedy your problem:
1) Take the PC and lift it over your head.
2) Walk to your nearest supervisor.
3) Look your supervisor dead in the eyes and let out the war cry of your people.
4) Slam the PC down onto the supervisor's desk.
5) Walk out.

This process may need to be repeated up to three times.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, if you encounter any further errors accessing your computer system, please shove it.

Sincerely,
IT

If the process needs to be repeated, feel free to use the PCs of a coworker or three

It was called "dumpster diving" at the time and it wasn't by choice... nor did we do it for/out of any environmental concerns... It was solely practiced to avoid the alternative which was starving to death.

Some restaurants placed food trash in a bin next to the dumpster to keep us from rooting around in their dumpsters. Which was nice.

I only saw one person get sick and that's because he was too impatient for the all important oven reheat to kill off the bacteria.

Geez... that sounds rough

I seriously don't see how you wouldn't reheat that food tbh, sounds more like stupidity as opposed to impatience

unless they didn't have access to reheating? in which case I guess taking a chance is better than starving

Are we talking restaurant pizza in a dumpster

In the distant past before computers tracked every movement of our lives you could call Dominoes from any phone and order several pizzas to be delivered to any address. Then wait for them to attempt delivery, fail and then return to the store and throw the pizzas in the dumpster.... It took about an hour.

The key was to order something like broccoli on it the pizza guys didn't like because if you ordered something too common like pepperoni the pizza delivery guys would eat it.

As more and more people caught on to the scam sometimes there would be four or five people in the bushes behind the dumpster waiting for their "pizza delivery". >.>

Wait

This was a thing?

It's like being a malicious freegan, well a less annoying freegan

Unless you're dominos, then it sounds annoying

I've started limiting how often I go out for lunch when at work, and have started cooking a lot more

might not be your thing, but you can always make steak and bring that to work

it's guaranteed to make at least one coworker jealous
... One of my co-workers did this yesterday...

*takes a long look at Lolserj*

Are you actually a woman in my office?

M-m-maybe

No. boss likes it and is buying so. /shrug
Beats eating a sub out of the dumpster. Ben There.
we have one of those rotating vending machines with, "fresh sandwiches". they also have chicken and hamburgers. you check the package and everything is loaded with 500 ingredients and 500x too much salt. i guess on a rainy day jimmy johns would be ok. at least to save me having to drive somewhere.

The company that stocks those horrible machines is whose dumpster i ate sandwiches out of. I prefer dumpster pizza warmed up in an oven...

Are we talking restaurant pizza in a dumpster or $1 freezer pizza in a dumpster?

no, I don't know what book she reads in the car, because she doesn't talk to us anymore. 'This fight is our fight', maybe?

Niko was right about my book, and it's not in any god damned car.

enough about all that though, It's no fun to poke fun at texans when they're not here to defend themselves.

Well wait, I prefer a good family owned Pizza place's sub to any fast food sub or hoagie, but Wawa for fast food

It's ok but their bread is too much.

Try Jersey Mikes. Those are good subs.

I personally like Wawa the most for hoagies (or whatever you want to call your long sandwich)
