I'm in high spirits today, but I'm also high on pain killers as well, which my have something to do with it.
I nearly killed myself trying to remove a juniper bush through a rather hillbilly methodology. Bush - 1 Mosin - 0. I shall rally my thoughts, gather reinforcements, and try again saturday! other than that blunder it was a pretty good weekend. got the yard cleaned up and ready for some TLC next weekend. feeling good about that mentally, albeit not physically. kicked some *** on the kerbal space program. only 2 alien astronauts killed thus far. I'll name some comets or something after them, maybe.

I survived yet again. cut up, sore, and grouchy, but the wife knows I'm a degenerate and took the boy with her. I shall be drunk no later than 5;15 and this will all just be an unpleasant, fuzzy memory, or preferably a blank spot.

lol we went inside...not that it helped much since we had no ac...
they would announce it on the news... we would close our windows from when they came down the street until the fog almost cleared... >.>

My dad for sbiannually and they go to work on his face taking off possibly infected parts to stem any kind of cancerous growth... you always know he’s gone as he comes back with about 5 to 8 big ol pot marks on his face... |

The god damn skin doctors are going to hack me up again after lunch, which I despise, and I get ritualistically heavily intoxicated there after. The rub being that the wife and daughters are going to some tubberware party or the other, so the boy and I are on our own. I don't think I'd be too pleased with myself if I get ripped to the *** drunk and fall asleep on the little guy, so I need to calm the mind / nerves without sweet libation until at least 7pm. I'm not sure how / if this is going to work.
my precisely worded expert analysis will be filed away with all the others ...
seems to be par for the course.

it's almost as much fun as it sounds... we're not even going to reuse the motor... I'm just trying to figure out which supplier(s) gets bitched at for failing to adhere to our tolerance specifications ... which they will apologize for and say they will look into it, wait for a while, apologize again and say they will do better quality control in the future.
the dumbass that made the part wrong is probably long gone and the guy that was supposed to QC check it will make some sort of excuse that he doesn't have adequate manpower check every single component...
then we'll have a meeting and make our purchasing guy get bids from other suppliers whose more accurate processes cost too much... then our cfo will punt it six months down the field. and my precisely worded expert analysis will be filed away with all the others ...
