Well as always my Wings are kicking butt in the regular season but I expect them to faceplant in the first round or two of the playoffs if I buy tickets to one of the games ... It's a Detroit thing (see Lions and Tigers as well)
Though it would be nice to see them win it all again for a change. Life long wings fan here as always we will roll to the playoffs. Hope we survive the 1st few rounds.
Sister follows the Red Wings and the local (AHL?) hockey team the San Antonio Rampage.
Yup, AHL are the farm teams for NHL.
For example, I follow my city's AHL team Hamilton Bulldogs, which just so happen to be the Habs' farm team. :P Its been a pretty rough season for the Habs.
Could always be worse, but yeah... *shrug*

Huge Flyers fan. Too bad they're having a concussion epidemic....
Caps fan for life. We started the season strong, but haven't been playing well at all this year. Barely in playoff standings last time I looked, changed head coaches mid-season. Overrated star of the team played like ***the first 30 games, finally starting to come around. Overall, not very optimistic for the post-season so far.
Penguins fan here, ever since I was little.
Sucks Crosby being hurt, but has been an exciting division the past few years.

Husband is a Flyers fan and I always know when he has a game on TV bc it seems like all I hear is Bryzgalov!!!!!! Seems like commentators just love saying his name or something lol For me, Go Rangers!!! :) I live near Philly now and I tried to get into the Flyers but I just couldnt do it. I went to the Flyers-Kings game this year but damn its pricey to go to Flyers games. Im about 2 hours away from where the Devils are and they are much cheaper, I might go check them out.
What my wife and I do when we want to go to a Flyers game is check out tickets on stub hub 3-4 hours before the game. Went to the Jets game for $12.99 ea. plus handling fees.

Sucks about Crosby still being out =/. Hopefully he'll be back soon, Pittsburgh could really use him again!
I think he should just stay out, honestly...
But he's the "golden boy", so... :| Though I do give him props for growing up in Cole Harbour. >.> Place is crazy. Nice to see the Kings get a win tonight. I really just want to make it this year after the lack of offense we've had. The west is so hard it doesnt really matter wear we finish anyways. a rematch with Vancouver would be cool though.
Sabres fan. This season sure has been a challenge for them, playoff hopes are looking bleak but there is still time for a bounce back to clinch a low level seed.

Used to be a huge Sens fan until (I forget specifics) Alfredson shot the puck intentionally at an opposing player in the last seconds of a playoff game they lost. I lost all respect for the team when he did that.
Now I am a Pens fan though not hardcore. I just want whatever team Jagr is on to do poorly. My AHL team isn't the greatest (Cleveland...imagine that right?) but it's fun to watch none the less :D
And sorry Z...but hockey is soooo much better than baseball :P lol
