/rdm and /blm are very good in particular instances.
But /sam is my primary subjob of choice. Meditate, Seigan/Third Eye, Store TP and Sekkanoki would also like to throw out a, "What's up?"

Hell no. They've never done that. There was a time even the melee/mage ammo items (like bomb core) were throwable. It made sense that they changed those. But actual bullets? I'm just happy QD doesn't expend bullets, so this is at least good for that. Also, if they could do that, you would have unlimited shot all the time with that bullet.
Let than sink in.
This isn't the first ammo intended to be used in this or similar fashion. Ranger has had multiple unlimited shot WS ammos in the past.

While that if very true the consept is still the same. Make it where the /ra command does not work just like it does with the throwing items and it would make since. Just wait till your macro glitches and you fire it. I for see a topic on the offical forums beggin that it be changed to a none firing bullet.

I was talking about the ammo item to which he was referring ( http://www.ffxiah.com/item/19214/fullmetal-bullet). The Fullmetal Bullet is NOT a firable ammo bullet. It's a non-projectile ammo like a bomb core or fire bomblet. I'm not suggesting r/ex ammo isn't in the game, in fact I already referenced an example.
And no, the code is not the same at all, precisely for the reason that it unequips a gun when you equip the ammo. When you equip the fullmetal bullet, it unequips any gun you have on because it is not an actual bullet to be fired. It's like try to fire a bomb core with your Armageddon.
To do what you're proposing would either have to fundamentally change the code or the bullet itself would have to be coded to give you a full-time unlimited shot effect, which would be completely and totally broken.

in reference to the mage ammo use to able to be thrown, it also use to have an aspire effect on the tathalums so you could farm stacks of it, cap throwing and use them to get mp back, I was actually sad when they removed this as I was like 2/3 of the way to capped throwing on rdm at the time.

It prevents shooting the bullet because of lag. As for glitches... there's no glitch that I'm aware of that causes you to shoot the incorrect ammunition.

Yeah but you can put a ton of redundancies in there to make it really hard to shoot it. Aftercast change to a bullet, precast of a shot change to a bullet, cancel if bullet is equiped.. ect.

Man ive miss fired my oberon bullet so many times i ended up making a macro to switch to bronze bullet before i do wildfire /equip ammmo bronze bullet, /wait2, /ws wildfire, no more worries, ill do the same when i get Omphalos bullet, "IF" lol.

I've got my macros set up as such that the only way I can fire my Om. Bullet is if I let myself run out of Orichalcum bullets without cracking a new stack.
Hopefully I can keep it longer than two weeks, which is about as long as my old PPA lasted back in the day on ranger. XD
