War Great Axe

Couldn't see anything in the forum on the first page about this, what is the best non Emp/Relic I can get a Widowmaker from my LS or should I build a ToM one if so which?

Widowmaker is prob -the- best GA out there and many say is better than Emp/Relic.

Ive done the NM myself and we got the drop with Blue and some TH on it, its not required but have a brewer handy as he gets nasty under 50%, if not to win just to keep it claimed n procced.

A alternative is Vermail, which i use for WAR and DRK. Easy soloable nm, high drop rate, and a reasonable axe to wield.

If u can get a Widowmaker, dont bother with a magian, imo.

Vermeil Bhuj is a level 80 weapon. It doesn't come close to comparing to a level 90 Magian weapon.

Widowmaker is the best non magian upgraded weapon that is currently available (but anyone that says it's better than a Ukon is not worth listening to). But remember that we still have 9 levels to go, and Magian weapons will get progressively better, whereas a Widowmaker will not.

Since you mentioned that you don't want to put too much time into war, I suppose that takes out WoE/Empy weapons (which are both very good). I would probably suggest the Str/Att Gaxe for long term, Widowmaker for the near future.

And alfard is cake. You really should not need to brew it >.>

Wasnt my comment, just what Widowmaker owners have said. Also i said that a brew isnt -needed-, but it -can- prevent a loss of claim when he gets nasty.

nin/dnc can solo alfard by tanking it from behind, while most other melee jobs can duo it with a whm using the same tactic

I can't believe anyone on Lakshmi was stupid enough to tell you Widowmaker was better than Maschu+2, let alone the Empyrean.

Widowmaker if you dont bother got get Uko/WOE GA.

Buy an Elephas Axe forget V Bhuj. Then try for Warlord's then Widowmaker.

So Elephas->Warlord's->Widowmaker in terms of upgrades.
