It's only a 6 hit I doubt OP has the gear needed for a 5 hit.

Thanks for all the replies, I'm in a pretty decent LS we do all abyssea and dont have any problems with any mobs, I'm main WHM and also Blm sometimes, I just levelled War as a fun DD so I'm not too worried about X-hit builds as I'll only be using it with friends and for nothing serious.

So from what I'm reading I should first go for Warlords Axe? As I said getting a Widowmaker is no problem but if ToM can produce a better one then I don't mind doing that because I like playing on war so killing X amount of mobs is fine, I just dont fancy glavoid or camping NMs etc ^^.

If you can get a Widowmaker, there's no point at all in getting Warlord's.

Also, just because ToM has 9 more levels doesnt really mean anything, if it can be beaten now by a weapon dropped from a NM there's a great chance there will be another weapon like Widowmaker that will beat ToM in the future.

widowmaker is better than anything from tom other than something that gives ukko's fury.

Meh, Maschu isn't really all that better. It sucks for anything that isn't spamming Ukko's Fury(Fell Cleave burn only really), though in my experience(and this may just be the poor quality of Warriors on Asura) it doesn't really do a quicker job at killing anything either.

OP: Go get Widowmaker since it's a non-issue. It won't let you down. WoE is a ***.

Fell cleave is obvious, as the only reason to use Maschu is the ws itself.
