I'm pretty sure you've done it before but I wouldn't mind a quick breakdown of the process you guys use for reviewing the applications.
It's not a formal process, but it basically goes like this:
- Kojo hassles me about needing more mods
- Ignore him for a while
- Drink
- Finally give in to harassment and put out a call for applications
- Post applications in moderator section
- Active mods/admins weigh in on each, and give a list of their preferred choices. In my case I'll occasionally ask around about people I don't know as well
- We tabulate the feedback and then pick who I was going to choose anyway
- Notify His Scraggness™
- Notify new mods, promote, make thread, watch as people celebrate a new batch of jailers getting stun batons
rinse, repeat
