Hi folks,
I've tried for the life of me to create a single set for WHM, with capped Haste (+26%), Fast Cast+80 and Quick Magic+10% and this is as close as I can get.

Haste+25%, QM+10, FC+80 (I tried to avoid HQ Weatherspoon because who wants to wait 6+ months for that?)

If anyone else has any improvements or a better set or knows how to get that last 1%, please share.

Thanks.

```
<set name="FastCast80With10QC">
<main>Oranyan</main> (FC+7)
<sub>Clerisy Strap +1</sub> (FC+3)
<ammo>Hasty Pinion +1</ammo> (Haste+2)
<head>Nahtirah Hat</head> (FC+10, Haste+5)
<body>Zendik Robe</body> (FC+13, Haste+4)
<hands>Fanatic Gloves</hands> (FC+7, Haste+3)
<legs>Kaykus Tights +1</legs> (Haste+5, FC+7)
<feet>Chironic Slippers</feet> (Haste+3, Augment FC+7)
<neck augment>Clr. Torque +2</neck> (rank 25, FC+10)
<waist>Witful Belt</waist> (FC+3, Haste+3, QM+3)
<ear1>Loquacious Earring</ear1> (FC+2)
<ear2>Enchntr. Earring +1</ear2> (FC+2)
<ring1>Kishar Ring</ring1> (FC+4)
<ring2>Weatherspoon Ring</ring2> (QM+3, FC+5)
<back>Perimede Cape</back> (QM+4)
```

Pinga Pants +1
Grio with FC aug
and Lebeche Ring can get you there too, without "wasting" your Adoulin ring. It's a good ring if you also have rng, but if you don't You might get more mileage out of a Janniston Ring.

I guess Pinga pants would break 25% haste... but if you've got at least haste 1, you should be fine

Drop Hasty pinion for sapience orb (2%fc)
Drop kaykaus tights for ayanmo+2 legs (6fc, 9 haste). Should over cap your haste and FC by 1 each

Check my math

If I may ask, what is even the purpose of this set?

Quick Magic is evaluated at start of cast (precast) while Haste is evaluated at the finish of cast (midcast). I see no reason to ever want both in the same set unless it's some kind of strange multi-purpose set?

Thanks for asking, someone pointed this out to me, outside of this thread. Initially, I was trying to get Arise recast as low as possible and to do that, I thought:

1.) I need FC+80 and QM+10 in pre-cast
2.) Haste+26% in mid-case (and as much FC as possible in mid-cast)

I got carried away and for that they can be 2 separate sets. However, I do want to continue I needed as much Fast Cast as possible in my mid-magic set.

Do you happen to know if any FastCast over 80 counts towards anything?

That makes sense :) And nope, FC over 80 does nothing.

Edit: Although it is possible there are some rounding issues due to storing in x/256 format, just like with Haste needing 26 instead of 25. So "80" FC might end up being 79.2 FC or something weird like that and you really need 81 to cap. Extensive testing on that hasn't been done because it's really hard to test (due to lag). So if you want to air on the side of caution, 81 or 82 FC may not be a horrible idea.

Has it been proven that FC over 80 does nothing in the context of recast? Given any sort of casttime reduction caps at 80%, there's not any sort of implication that FC itself is also capped at 80 if it hasn't been tested.

Inspiration's Fast Cast buff exceeds the normal recast reduction caps for Fast Cast. This does not bypass the global recast reduction cap.
This makes me think that it may not actually be capped.
