Missing Items Glitch

So I was playing and a few of my items glitched out and they are there but I cant equip them. They have no name just a dot and no picture. The issue is that they are all my pulse ambuscade weapons. I use item search and it shows they are there but its glitched what do I do?

Do I call a GM?

Are you using Steam? Another poster made a similar thread and had the same issue with an update patch. A fresh install from the POL site will probably do the trick.

Had this exact issue this morning. Uninstalling from Steam and using the new installer fixed the issue

So what you do is, manually put your item in the 10th slot of your inventory, go to Valkurm Dunes and run up and down the coast. You will run into an NM named "Missingno". Immediately run away; DO FIGHT OR CAPTURE VIA SOUL PLATES. When you zone into Selbina, the item will multiply itself.

at character select screen, save macros to server

Remember BRD!

Character select screen >> Highlight your character with macros.

CTRL+ALT+Shift+B = Save all macros to server.

CTRL+ALT+Shift+R = Load all macros from server.

CTRL+ALT+Shift+D = Delete all macros on server.

Did you try file check before clean install? That may work.

Open POL and click Check Files:



From the drop-down box, be sure to click Final Fantasy XI and not Playonline or Tetra Master:

I'm far from 100% sure that this is a fix as I havnt' confirmed it myself with this yet, but I have read if helped other people with problems that popped up after the most recent version update.

Thursday a member of my LS had a problem with their files and items not loading in properly, they did a file check it resolved the matter.

Friday an LS member had problems where NPC dialog wasn't correct and couldn't access certain sub menus. They attempted to do a file check and it did not resolve their issue.

I believe the item is actually your Endorsement Ring. Same thing happened to me, also I could not enter AMAN Trove with my Mars Orb without freezing the game. I uninstalled and downloaded the new launcher, hopefully this fixes the problem.

Ty everyone. I deleted steam from my computer and reinstalled the game and I got it to work. Lost a day of gaming but better than all my pulse weapons being gone.
