Can't Update As Of 9/1/2018

I can't update the game on my laptop. The POL get to checking version and then I get error POL-1160. Are the update servers really that busy??

I'm in the process of moving, so I'm on hotel Wi-Fi, with an old laptop. The hotel also has both *wired* and wireless access. I tried both, neither of them worked to get the update. I'm thinking that the hotel network has something to do with it... I guess I'll go over to the local library and try their network and see what happens.

$0.02 worth of free advice. Don't move... Packing up all your ***, moving it and seting it all up agin really sucks the big one....

Yeah that's most likely it, they probably have ports blocked and/or have a timeout. Could try to utilize a VPN.

There's your answer there. Like what Jetackuu said, some ports maybe blocked.

The ports on the hotel's wired & wireless are blocked. I went over to the local library to try their internet access. The game came right up.
