What's the best place to max merits on a fresh 99 with Sparks Gear?

Not really. As the whole server can't exp in there, its useful to have one or two backup spots.

Well the whole server isn't fresh 99s in spark armor.
Reisenjima for people who are legit geared.
Escha - Ru'Aun for people who are legit down to moderately geared.
Escha - Zi'Tah for the newbies. Can level 75~99 in there at ridiculous speeds, and afterwards the monsters aren't too tough for a sparks noob.

If you're farming merits in Escha - Zi'Tah with full HQ Abjuratory gear and 12 REAMEs.... and you're not doing something specific (like a UCRoE for 20 beasts), you're not really in the right place.

acuex are nice, weak to fire and can aspir them. There are varying levels for them too

I walk around AoE'ing tarichuks and bugards for fast merits. Quick and Easy. Theres no specific zone you should be in based on gear, do whats fastest for you.
