Minions Pet Job LS On Shiva....and PUPs??

So, we just pulled this off right before maintenance. AA MR on Difficult. Setup PLD, PUP/WHM x3, COR, GEO/RDM We did this yesterday as well, only difference is, tonight we won 4 seconds earlier. lol

Poor guy is 1/26 on the hands. And the 1 that did drop hands, he was outlotted by someone who then quit FFXI a couple weeks later.

I feel his pain.

i have no data to back this up, but I swear, in DivineMight 2.0 fight, these hands are MR's fave item to drop.

Do DMII difficult once if not twice a week. Never seen the hands drop there. Was lucky and they dropped on a friends MR run. Was told to come to zone and take them. XD

Since the initial posting we've done the fight 5 more times. 4 wins, and 1 wipe. Still no hands for Onionknight.

If you're wondering why we wiped, our PLD d/c'd right as MR hit 25%, and since he was redballing, he couldn't equip Aegis, and he got blasted by Cloudsplitter for 2.8k damage. MR picked the rest of us off after that.

As for our drops, MR sure loves dropping the hat, and the NIN katana a lot.

it's because you guys go with PUP, she knows you want the pet hands.... go with rngs setup and it wont' drop the hat and will keep dropping the hands!

For us, her favourite is def. the waist item though. XD

I'm a taru pup main on Siren, not doing much cause Siren's a ghost town.

Come on over, we could always use more good PUPs to conduct strange new experiments with. For science, of course. I also see you have BST, which is good too.

What battles you guys doing these days?

AA Fights, Skirmish, Alluvion Skirmish. We're going to try doing Head Winds v.2 here soon.

So, we had a go at Alluvion Skirmish tonight with a setup of PUP x4, SMN, COR.

x2 Cirdas runs, x2 Rala runs.

1st Cirdas run = wipe. Damn Behemoth leveled up way too quickly for us. We got it to 35% in a hurry using RNG puppets, but when it leveled up too much, our puppets couldn't hit anymore. Highly recommended all PUPs use PLD auto for that.

2nd Cirdas run - exit on 3rd floor. Managed to kill a Golem NM (dropped gun) and a Wivre NM (dropped Shield). On the 3rd floor it was another Golem NM. We killed it right before the key was used and right before time was set to expire. Dropped Bow.

1st Rala run - Exit on 4th floor. Killed Corse x2, and a Gallu NM. Scythe x2 and Hand to Hand drop

2nd Rala run - MEGA BOSS APPEARANCE! On the 3rd floor. Got it to 8% before we wiped. We had no idea what to expect, as none of us had fought it before. A pimped out BST in place of the SMN would have come in handy to help keep the mega boss in place while the PUPs cycled their puppets in. First 2 floor NMs were a Corse, and an Uragnite. Great Sword and Axe dropped.

Overall a good set of runs, sans the first run with the Behemoth. We'll be trying again very soon.

Alluvion Skirmish mega boss says "sup?"

Finally took the Court Jester down today. 4 PUP, 1 SMN, 1 COR. Was pretty easy, actually. Diabolos from SMN rules on this, tanks it like a boss to give the PUPs a chance to re-activate, repair, and re-send in to fight.

So, a Minions LS member is QQing about his shitty luck with PUGs for Ark Angel EV (difficult) and thinks he'll never get Dynasty Mitts for his WHM. Earler in the evening, he was in a group that timed out with a standard setup where the PLD was constantly being one-shotted by Arrogance Incarnate.

So later in the evening, I set up a run using our patented PLD, PUPx3, COR, GEO setup. Easy win and got the drop.
