Coconut Versus Sugar Rusk

So I've been exploring the rusk foods in help of making hq items. If one we're to b e shooting for piece of cursed armor hq that is a tier 1 synth, would one rather use a sugar rusk than a coconut rusk?

I would recommend neither.

I have had 0 luck with increased HQ rates. (actually seen the opposite on t1 synths) I am in an active crafting LS and we all pretty much agree the increased HQ rate on rusk is a myth. Our theory is it increases the HQ tier. (I have also seen others post the same info/theory)

I went like 0/20 on Cursed Pumps -1 with coconut, then used a sugar and HQ'd my first attempt. I got all excited and proceded to NQ 15 more with the sugar. Screw all crafting food, especially kitron in combination with the +1 success ring.

Went 0/60 on Cursed Breastplate -1 with rusk. Random number generators ofc so hard to tell, needs much bigger samples - but going to stick with no foods from now on.

I went 1/12 then 2/4 on Cursed Breastplate -1's using Coconut rusk back at the 100 cap though. But I honestly don't know..

And yea, I'm no math wizard, but I can imagine it would be an inconveneiently large test sample that would be required to get any kind of conclusive information on Rusk vs Non-Rusk, esp if it only does something like increase the HQ chances by 1-3%.

I'll let you guys interpret it how you will, but let's put it this way : I don't use rusks anymore.
