Puppetmaster Merits

Any recommandations for group 2 merits?

1 Role Reversal, 1 Ventriloquy, 3 Fine-Tuning, 5 Optimization.

changed mines to this since the merit update. but for group 1.

personally i use Repair Recast 5, Automaton Melee Skill 5. why them 2? i do alot pvp. but for group 1 merits it depends on what pet you use more, mage rng or valor.

but Magic Skill will be a waste kinda. & Activate Recast^^;

Those group 2 are good panic buttons in certain situations. (Low hp, emnity wiped/enmity gone weird). Only Role Reversal will play a part in PvP, and thats only if the pet hasnt been aoe'd down.
I didn't really do PvP in FFXI, only 1v1s vs friends cos the PvP system was horrible imo, but yeah, if you want to merit for PvP, 1 Role Reversa, then 4 Fine-Tuning 5 Opt. :p
Unless you're not bothered about a hp panic button and just go 5/5 on Opt/FT
