Post-Abyssea Gear

For starters, i was a die-hard pup main, until about the 85 cap when i got heavily into dnc, and discouraged over the crappy pup-AI. Since its change and my new insight on dynamis, i was thinking of dusting off my pup and getting back into it. My question is, what type of a tp/ws set should i be gunning for and leaving out af3 where possible. id rather not go back and do it's af3 unless the piece is just irreplaceable.

That being said, i do not intend to re-make pup my main and gun for every extra +1 atk it can get, just make it decent. Any advice would be grand. Also, i believe the most updated weapon i have for it is a 2-3 hit ursine, while not practical for hitting large numbers, awesome for WS proccing in dynamis imo.

To be honest pup has one of the best AF3 sets of any job. 4/5 are solid for tp build and 1-3 are good for WS as well (depending on which WS). If you are dead set against getting the set, you can probably still cap haste through zelus tiara or if you have a toci's harness, ocelohmeh +1. Also usukane body/legs/feet are solid for a pup tp set. There's also Athos's boots or the augmented kokugetsu sune-ate for feet. That's all i can think of offhand.
