How Does The Gondo-Shizunori Compare To Tomoe?

How does the Gondo-Shizunori compare to Tomoe?
Or even the Engetsuto? Been trying to break it for a while to use until I went after Tomoe and was just wondering how good it is for sams against birds.
I don't have the math or right words to describe this other than:

Tomoe is a bit ahead in uncapped acc (aka you actually have enough acc in your build to use meat instead sushi on birds without madrigal, hunter's roll, ect).
ONce you pop the crab sushi you'd be capped either way and they're more or less even, sidegrade to one another. I'm pretty much Tomoesexual on colibri in merits. Many 1000 dmg WSs.
Lol I was pretty sure Tomoe was better, I really gotta get one of those. I was just wondering how Gondo compared. Thanks for the heads up though Mexichu.

you ask how honestly not sure but with capped acc gondo out does tomoe.. and where was anything said about average number?
The word "many" implies a more common value rather than spike damage. Besides, his equip history doesn't seem like the kind of wtfgimp equipment that would lead to completely terrible Pentas. I suppose it would also depend on what he can expect in the way of buffs though.
As for your spikes, eyeballing. Assuming we're talking about per-WS damage that is; if acc is capped it's already been noted that they're basically sidegrades in terms of total DPS.

The last riceball SAM to claim that here could MAX around 1700 average after accounting for Zerk up/down iirc (DAs not included), but they also had ~69% hitrate. Your gear is a good bit better than theirs, but I'm still quite skeptical. EDIT: Yeah... unless you're Mithra, you're not breaking 85% hitrate on WS. You're not averaging 1800, not if you're doing it right on buffs.

NP i'm not getting into an argument over it. Was at work and bored. I don't know what other people use and I know what my output is on birds^^ I use a riceball set on my polearm and insist on min/mad because when the sams in ur pty can hit 2k+ many times with a 5hit build kinda makes mar redundent. 2x 2k penta and the bird is dead.

meh idk what to say everyone has their own style. I'm content w/ mine. If my party can managed to pull middle/some of bottom and still have to kill a wivre then i dont think there is madness in my methods.

With zerk up the numbers get pushed up to 1500+ and warcry+zerk ive hit over 2k, songs and rolls can only help. /gondorant
all in all gondo is a decent polearm for sam, use it and abuse it while waiting for tomoe or maybe SE will give us some love and a better polearm than tomoe>.> It's fairly simple to work out, DMG86 is better than DMG85, ACC+5 is better than ACC+0 or +2 in Engetsuto's case, and finally ATK+5 is better than ATK+0.

I hate tards. This is unfortunately true, especially with the Rice Ball SAM's out there. But even with 8/8 Polearm merits it's fairly difficult to reach 85%ACC, let alone 90%+ while eating meat.
