The reason people farm Thf anklets is because 1 the rarest material for it is the leech bat soul. everything else is super easy.

2. its one of two accessories that can have absorb AP/HP. I still need one that has both but atm i have one that gives +150 ap plus has 7absorb ap. which some skills atm give me like 400 ap cause it has something to do with the damage dealt.

Absorb AP gets rid of all the ap management/auto attacks xD makes blocking/sprinting less of an AP issue

Yeah the absorb HP/AP rates if you get lucky can make it where most jobs never struggle with AP ever again, minus excessive running like the ho-bag Dryad likes to do on occasion.

I've been main jobbing Ranger since almost the beginning of the game. I do so much kiting it's ridiculous, but fun.

even then if you get absorb ap on a skill or three like i have... you really make up for all that running in 1 or 2 skills and then you are topped off again xD

She has a REALLLLLYYY bad habbit of trolling me. She will pop up on the other side of the battlefield, and by the time I get to her, she will go back under and play ping-pong with me. It's happened on countless encounters with her lol.

Hateeeeeeeee

I'm glad I'm not the only one that developed tourettes when fighting dryad. The high star ones are even more annoying because the fights drag on for awhile.

I'd rather get downed by Odin's zantsutsken spam 100 times in a row than fight dryad -_-;

I just paid her back, BAD lol

Got a lv 21 Black Knight with me on my Machinist and got 1000 Needles mode up, Desperado for 1k each hit and I think I saw a 10k crit on Head Shot in there. BOOM! HEAD SHOT!!

EDIT: Yeah, 10k. I got Cecil trance/attire/weapon as well as just unlocked the Fusion Sword schematic.

There appears to be HQ+ drops. I have only seen it once from a Goblin Lord, when it died a golden bubble appeared that contained a 'Goblin Lord's gem' or something like that. The item was in red text.

Yeah I beleive rarity 1 is green ball+white text, rarity 2 is purple ball+yellow text, and rarity 3 is gold ball+red text. Basically HQ1 HQ2 and HQ3. The higher star mission the better chance to get those items.

I haven't updated the OP because there are spreadsheets that do a better job here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sqvCjOvk4Y7Si646RNr9egTn-REEzK07vLeCje4v1PE/htmlview#

I'll probably remove drop info and just link some of the stuff I have bookmarked. No sense in putting in a bunch of work that was already done. And I mean a BUNCH of work.

I think there are only 2 missions related to having to kill them. Same with black and white chocobos, have only seen them on a quest called black and white.

As far as I know, I've never seen them otherwise in either location.
